Guess who got her camera back? Yep, and just in time for Christmas, thanks Adam!
Here is a pic from our first day in DC we hit the Botanic gardens, the Museum of the American Indian, and the reflecting pool. Oh yeah and the neighborhood Starbucks, all in the space of about 2 hours. This was probably the best day we had in DC, the weather was nice and I hadn't been tapped out inthe Noracare category.
Alec is off work this week. It is his one and only week of vacation until September. Unfortunately, it is raining like crazy this week. There isn't a whole lot to do so we're basically lazing around. Yesterday we heard about this thing called googlewacking and we've become addicted. Here's how it works: you enter two words (real ones and no names, think scrabble rules) into google and the object is to get only ONE hit. This one guy wrote a whole standup routine and book about it and it is funny stuff. His words were DORK and TURNSPIT. Neither Alec nor I have succeeded as of yet but we're busy trying. Needless to say, if you call and the line is busy we're online...
